    Ask to remove my number, says they can't because I signed up. I didn't. Then starts trying to convince me I did by citing outdated information.

      When I say that's wrong, the person on the phone starts getting very aggressive and abusive, raising their voice. I hung up.

        I wasn't interested anyway, but abusing people over the phone isn't a great way to convince someone that they want whatever it is that you're peddling.
