      I've started saying at the start of my talk that I'm a hardware noob, I feel that it helps people realise that they can have a go at this stuff too.

        I don't think I'm an expert in anything, I'm just enthusiastic about learning and building stuff, and I want to share that with people and get them to be enthusiastic too.
